Computer People United
The CPU Club gives all students interested in computer science an opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge beyond the classroom. Beginners and experienced computer users get a chance to meet and share ideas and experiences.
The CPU Club sponsors:
  • Guest speakers on a variety of computer topics
  • LAN Parties (Multiplayer video game nights)
  • Trips to local businesses and seminars (i.e. Symantec in Springfield or Microsoft seminars in Eugene)
  • Seminar for all students on how to secure their home computer and wireless connection
  • Service projects such as helping fellow students with computer issues and visiting Senior Centers

Two Presidents share the work and maintain continued leadership from year-to-year. Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinating Club meetings
  • Presiding over club and club leadership meetings
  • Scheduling speakers
Public Relations/Secretary - Matthew Miller
Responsibilities Include:
  • Advertising club meetings and events
  • Emailing club members
Enviornmental Projects and Humanites Coordinators -Positions Available
Responsibilities Include:
  • creating environmental awareness
  • coordinating environmental events
  • coordinates recycling projects
  • coordinates humanities projects
  • service projects
Treasurer - Cheryl Bammel
Responsibilities Include:
  • Handles all club funds
  • Monitors club's account
  • Coordinates fundraising activities
Events Coordinator - Bryce Kropf
Responsibilities Include:

Gaming Coordinator - Byron Kropf
